PSE were appointed to provide structural design services on this project which involved the refurbishment and sizeable extension (circa 3,000 sq. ft) of a dilapidated Pub to a vibrant new Islamic Community Centre. A main feature of this project was the large curved dormers and bay windows formed using GRP and a light-weight timber frame structure. Retaining wall structures were formed externally to accommodate the varying topography.
