PSE were appointed to provide structural design services for a new complex of industrial and office units (circa 25,000 sq. ft). A steel frame solution was adopted to achieve large open plan spaces. Due to the presence of considerable back-fill, PSE proposed Vibro Stone Columns as a form of sub-structure. This resulted in significant cost savings compared to the conventional piling route.
