PSE were appointed to provide structural design services for a four storey new build residential units (circa 6,000 sq. ft) in the borough of Tower Hamlets. The structure comprised of a traditional masonry frame supporting precast planks. A lightweight timber framed structure was proposed for the inset fourth storey to economise the transfer structure and the foundations below.
